First Unitarian Universalist Church
Of Niagara
    Children's Religious Education

Each Sunday at 11am our children gather with
the congregation to greet the day and one
another. Children participate in the "Gathering
In" elements of the service: chalice lighting,
affirmation of faith, songs and a story for all
ages. Children leave the sanctuary and
continue the morning with The Unitarian
Universalist approach to Children's religious
education.

We welcome you and your family to Children's
Religious Education Program. Our Program is
dedicated to the religious Education of children
pre-K through 8th grade.

Ours is a "One Room School House" where
children have a rare opportunity for close
connections with older and younger children.
Younger children learn from older children and
older children gain confidence in the role as
mentors. Members of our church serve as
volunteer teachers sharing their range of
talents, gifts, and experience with our children.
       Adult Discussion Group

Meets Sunday mornings at 9:45, starting
October 14. We usually discuss ideas from
articles from the UU World, although we have
been know to digress. Generally the topic is of
moral significance and related to current
issues. It is not necessary to have read the
article to join in the discussion. We share wit,
wisdom and caring. Come and join our happy
group. We meet in the Founders room
upstairs behind the sanctuary. Everyone is
welcome.

   Book Discussion Group

Meets the second Tuesday of each month to
discuss a book most or at least some of us
have read. We alternate between fiction and
non- fiction. The discussion tends to be on
issues raised by the book rather than the
book alone. We have a wide range of opinions
and thoughts and more are always welcome.
We also share a lot of humor. Everyone is
welcome to join our group
.
