First Unitarian Universalist Church Of Niagara
|
Sunday Services begin at 11:00am.
Regular Sunday Services
February 28: “Only a Piece of Paper” – Rev. Donald Reidell
A reflection on the cost of money.
March 7: “Renewal” – Rev. Theresa Kime with Worship
Associate Gary McCunn
Our church home provides us with many things: an opportunity
to explore our spiritual lives, an opportunity to form lasting,
caring connections with others, an opportunity for our children to
discover and learn about our world and the Spirit, a chance to
develop our knowledge and thinking about important matters, a
chance to work with others to make our world a place of blessing
for all. Each year we spend some time considering what this
faith and church mean to us and then we renew our pledges to
one another-- in our hearts and through our pocketbooks-- so
that this congregation can continue to be a presence in our
community. Join us today as we explore the renewal that
generosity brings.
After the service we’ll enjoy a potluck luncheon together. Please
bring a dish to share!
March 14: “Transforming Jericho Road” – Kimberly Dehon
Taking Martin Luther King, Jr.’s advice on changing the path of
suffering caused by racism and classism. What can each of us do
to make a positive difference?
March 21: “Mind and Heart: Unitarianism” – Rev. Theresa Kime
This is the beginning of a three-part series on the roots of our
faith tradition and what they have to remind us/teach us about
who we are today. This Sunday we’ll consider Unitarianism and
the third Sunday of the following two months we will consider
Universalism, and lastly the merger into Unitarian Universalism.
March 28: “The Bottom Rung” – Rev. Donald Reidell
If legend and history are right, those who stand on the bottom
rung of the ladder will inherit the earth.
