Fire and Ice...Hope for the Future
As we begin a new year, we are still getting used to coping with the block of ice we live on. As we reflect on the new year, we remember that Fire, historically has been viewed as a powerful purifier. Our speaker will reflect on the symbolism of Fire and the spiritual purpose IT serves. We will focus on the UU Chalice and conclude with a Fire Communion Ritual to set our hearts and minds aright.

Did COVID kill community?
In past generations, individuals have depended on neighbors, friends and extended family for support. Now they seem to be either trying to go it alone or find the answers to their problems on Social Media. Let's talk about how we got here, the pros and cons, and what we might do to revive community for all.

Ever hear the Motel 6 slogan, “we will leave a light on for ya?” There are many traditions and stories of why we leave a light on and there is a connection to our most basic UU presence.

The church's driveway lined with items for the homeless to take. We couldn't find an agency to help so we decided to do this. Someone is taking them and we're hoping it will make them more comfortable in our cold snowy climate.
